# Automated Reverse Engineering

I've started digging deeper into automated reverse engineering and the role AI may play in it. Tools like Claude, paired with Ghidra, IDA, and related plugins or MCPs, could make triage, note-taking, and pattern recognition much faster for analysts.

However, that upside comes with risk. Malware authors may eventually hide prompt injections in source, strings, or assembly to manipulate an analyst's workflow and expose details from a home or lab environment.

I'm especially fascinated by the OALabs stream below because it makes this shift feel practical instead of hypothetical. It is absolutely worth checking out if you want a grounded look at where automated reverse engineering may be heading.
